During my employment with MBC I held several management positions.
First, as head of the program development unit, then as Senior
Producer in the Special Programmes Department. In May 1994
I was promoted to Deputy Head of Features Department, followed
by Head of Features in December 1995. In January 1997 all
the internal production at MBC was merged under one department
and I was made Head of Productions Department covering a variety
of programmes from features and entertainment to documentaries.
The department had a staff of 90 people, producing 17 weekly
programmes with an output of 25 hours (43 hours including
repeats) weekly. The annual budget was 9 million Pounds Sterling.

Recruited as a Producer and Director to establish and manage
one of the first video production and facilities' companies
in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities included purchase and installation
of equipment, recruitment and supervision of a staff of some
twenty employees, contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling,
production and postproduction operations. The Company produced
films for Saudi Arabian Television, the Saudi Government and
international corporations such as; Toyota, Mobil Oil, Mannesman
WGP, Lockheed Corporation, Trans World Productions, Saudi
American Bank, Dunhill etc.
UNITED STATES ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA
Manager
of Officers Club
1st June 1975 to 10th June 1976
Was the manager for the United States Army Corps of Engineers,
Officers Club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As such, I was in charge
of the day to day running of the facilities with 40 guestrooms,
restaurant seating 40 people, recreational club facilities.
This also included a beach resort at the Red Sea with an additional
14 beach bungalow, a 50 seat restaurant, a marina with a number
of sail and powerboats and swimming pool. Supervised a staff
of 40 servants, chefs, waiters, maintenance and a driver's
pool.
SWEDISH SPORT DIVERS ASSOCIATION, STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

1st September 1973 to 30th September 1974
As head of the Swedish Divers Association, a 10,000 member
government sport organisation with 21 regional offices and
350 local dive clubs, I was responsible for the supervision
of the head office of a core staff of 8 employees. I was ultimately
in charge of running the day to day operation of the Association.
My responsibilities also included hands on interaction in
the regional offices and the local dive clubs which I visited
on a regular basis. In addition, I staged the Association's
Senior (three star) Instructors course together with the Swedish
Navy.
