media, including large outside Television Events, Music
Concerts, Radio & Television, Documentaries, Light
Entertainment, TV Commercials, Corporate Productions,
Commercial Photography, Multimedia, Newspapers and Magazines.

MBC
is the world's largest premier Arabic satellite television
group, and has an estimated daily audience of 10 million
viewers. Over a period of 13 years Gunnar was involved
in the group's formation, starting as Senior Director,
promoted to Head of Production Department, and capped
his MBC career as Executive Producer. During this period
he worked at the leading edge of television, ensuring
that MBC became a quality Arabic satellite broadcaster
and maintained its leading role as such. He also travelled
world-wide to stage large musical concerts and events.
The Middle East Years
Based and living in Saudi Arabia for 18 years, but working
throughout the entire Middle East (in 16 of the 21 Arab
League countries) in the television industry, Gunnar
also travelled world-wide, twice on assignment flying
around the world. He has produced film, photography
and television on location in USA, Africa, Europe, and
the Far East.

include more than 200 television programmes, 3 books,
material published in newspapers such as Newsweek, Business
Weekly, Wall Street Journal (New York), Washington Post
(Washington DC), Los Angeles Times (Los Angeles), Times
and Financial Times (London), La Repubblica (Rome),
Nikkei Business Journal (Tokyo), to mention but a few.
Covered the Gulf War in 1991, travelling into Iraqi
territory during the invasion. Filed stories for MBC
from Zagreb, Sarajevo and Beirut during the 1992 to
1993 civil wars. Some key productions include: "Hathihi
Biladuna" for the Saudi Arabian government; Yemen government's
official film on Yemen; the documentary "Lebanon Out
of the Ashes"; HRH the Prince of Wales's lecture "Islam
and the West"; Syrian TV's news titles, the Dubai Shopping
Festival 1997, and the 6-week Abha Music Festival 1998
and 1999 in Saudi Arabia. A series of interviews in
the programme "Face to Face" during 1993-1994 with politicians
such as Douglas Hurd, Yasser Arafat, James Baker, Prince
Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, Benazir Bhutto, Vladimir Zhirinovsky,
and others. During his 25 years in the Middle East Gunnar
worked with organisations and corporations such as:
the Saudi Arabian ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence,
Information, Agriculture, and Communications; SAMAREC;
SABIC; and ARAMCO. His international
client list includes Dornier (Germany), Mitsubishi (Tokyo),
Bouygues Blount (Paris), Lockheed Martin (Bethesta MD),
Nitro Nobel (Sweden), Mannersman AG (Germany), and Mobil
Oil (New York).
